History
I began practicing estate planning in 1998, but the story doesn’t start there. My dad, Dale O. Skerik, opened the practice in 1978. He encouraged me to join the practice after my graduation from Pepperdine Law School in 1998. A few years later, we joined as partners, forming Skerik & Skerik, LLP. After my dad’s retirement, I opened the Law Office of Chris P. Skerik.
I grew up in Huntington Beach. I graduated from Pepperdine University, and went straight into Pepperdine School of Law. After several years of practice, I knew I had to further my knowledge and got my Masters in Tax Law at Loyola Law School.
